What emergency codes are used on board Royal Caribbean ships?

If you hear a short string of code words over the PA, that call is usually for the crew, not a cue for guests to grab life jackets. Cruise lines use quick codes so the right team can move fast without turning a hallway into a panic zone. If guests need to do something, you will hear a clear, plain-language announcement. Codes are not universal. What you hear on Royal Caribbean may not match Carnival, Disney, Norwegian, or Celebrity, and some calls never hit the public PA at all. Hearing a code is also not the same as being told to muster. Your muster drill still covers what to do if guests are asked to assemble. If you are the one who spots a real emergency, tell a crew member right away instead of trying to decode the PA yourself.
