What is VOOM on a Royal Caribbean cruise?
VOOM is Royal Caribbean's answer to the question 'can I post this sunset before we sail away?' It is the paid ship Wi-Fi service, satellite-backed and fleetwide, meant for real internet tasks like email, browsing, video calls, and streaming. It is not the same as free Guest Wi-Fi, which mostly exists so the app can function without buying a package. Guest Wi-Fi is available on the ship only and does not work in port or at Perfect Day at CocoCay. Prices depend on tier and device count, so check Cruise Planner for your sailing rather than quoting your cousin's Bahamas deal.
