How is Royal Beach Club Paradise Island different from Perfect Day at CocoCay?
CocoCay is Royal's private island day that comes with the itinerary, with a big free footprint and paid add-ons if you want thrills. Paradise Island is an optional Nassau shore excursion: you buy a day pass, ride the club ferry, and step into an all-inclusive beach club with food, drinks, and Wi-Fi already in the ticket. One is destination DNA on many Bahamas sailings. The other is a choose-your-own beach club when the ship is in Nassau. Plenty of short cruises can offer both vibes on different days, which is a very good problem to have.
- Perfect Day at CocoCay is a private-island port stop with complimentary core beaches and dining, plus paid extras
- Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is an optional paid day pass in Nassau with all-inclusive food, drinks, and Wi-Fi
- CocoCay entry is part of calling at the island. Paradise Island requires a purchased pass
- Some Bahamas itineraries can include both on separate days
