Does my health insurance work at the onboard medical center?
The medical center does not accept land-based health insurance plans for payment onboard. You pay for care during the cruise, then check with your insurer about submitting a reimbursement claim afterward. If coverage applies, you typically need your medical records, an itemized bill, and the Tax ID shown on that bill. Ask for those documents before you leave the ship. Travel insurance purchased for the trip can be another path for reimbursement, depending on your policy.
