What should I pack in my carry-on for embarkation day?
On embarkation day you drop your checked bags at the curb and they go off to get acquainted with the ship without you. Your carry-on is your survival kit until that reunion happens, so pack a small bag for everyone in your party with the following:
- Travel documents (passport, boarding pass, and anything else your itinerary requires)
- Medications you need that day or overnight
- A change of clothes
- Bathing suit
Keep travel documents and medications on top where you can reach them without unpacking in the terminal. The change of clothes and bathing suit are what let you actually enjoy day one instead of killing time in the same outfit you left home in.
