What happens to duty-free alcohol I buy on the ship?
Duty-free shopping is fun until you realize liquor bottles cannot go straight to your stateroom. Non-alcohol duty-free purchases can be taken to your room, but alcohol and cigarettes in some regions are held by the crew and delivered on the last night or morning of your voyage. The same storage rule applies to extra wine you bring aboard or buy in port beyond the embarkation-day allowance.
