If I cancel my cruise, will my beverage package and excursions be cancelled too?
Yes. If you cancel your Royal Caribbean cruise, prepaid Cruise Planner purchases such as beverage packages, shore excursions, specialty dining, internet packages, spa treatments, and other pre-cruise extras are generally cancelled too. You are not left paying for add-ons to a vacation you are no longer taking. The cruise and the Cruise Planner purchases are treated as separate transactions, however. Your cruise fare follows the cancellation schedule for your reservation, while each Cruise Planner purchase follows its own cancellation policy. In many cases, eligible pre-cruise purchases are refunded when they are cancelled within the applicable deadlines, but always check the current terms for the specific item you purchased. In other words, cancelling the cruise does not leave you permanently subscribed to a drink package for a ship you will never board. The vacation can end. The piña coladas do not get visitation rights.
