Do I need an internet package to use the Royal Caribbean app?
No, and this is the one Wi-Fi question that does not require a spreadsheet. The Royal Caribbean app runs on the ship's free Guest Wi-Fi, which is not the same thing as the paid VOOM package you buy for Instagram and work email. Guest Wi-Fi is available on the ship only and does not work in port or at Perfect Day at CocoCay. Connect to Guest Wi-Fi in your phone settings once you board, and you can browse the daily planner, book dinner, stalk your onboard account, and message your travel group without opening your wallet. Save the internet package for when you actually need the outside world.
